Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about lait.finance — how it works, pricing, security, and supported accounts.
lait.finance is a personal finance and portfolio management platform that aggregates crypto wallets, exchanges, stock brokers, bank accounts, savings, real estate, vehicles, luxury items, and liabilities into one private dashboard. It is built for European and US investors and supports both EUR and USD portfolios with live conversion via ECB rates.
lait.finance connects to your accounts via read-only API integrations, Open Banking (PSD2), CSV imports, and manual entries. It supports crypto wallets (MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby), exchanges (Binance, BingX, Bybit, Kraken, KuCoin, OKX, Hyperliquid), banks via Open Banking (Revolut, BBVA, Santander, CaixaBank, Bankinter, and 2,000+ European institutions), and stock brokers (Trade Republic, Interactive Brokers). All data is aggregated in a unified dashboard showing total net worth, allocation breakdown, and monthly performance.
Open Banking (PSD2) allows lait.finance to securely connect to your European bank accounts with your explicit consent. Instead of importing CSV files manually, you authorize read-only access to your bank through a regulated provider. Your balances and transactions sync automatically on a daily basis. You can connect, reconnect, or revoke access at any time from Settings. Over 2,000 European banks are supported including BBVA, Santander, ING, CaixaBank, Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas, and many more.
Yes. lait.finance includes smart budgeting with a guided setup. Import bank statements via Open Banking or CSV from 40+ banks, and the platform automatically categorizes transactions using 336 merchant rules plus AI (GPT-4o-mini). It calculates your income, expenses, and savings rate, tracks spending per category with progress rings, streak counting, and pace indicators. Budgets auto-recalculate monthly based on detected income.
Yes. lait.finance includes a comprehensive real assets tracker for properties, vehicles, watches, jewelry, yachts, and other physical items. Each asset tracks purchase price, current estimated value, and appreciation or depreciation over time. For real estate in Spain, valuations are sourced from Idealista, Real Advisor, and Catastro. Vehicles are estimated using coches.net and DGT data. Luxury items like watches use AI-powered estimation with market references from 50+ brands. All real assets contribute to your total net worth.
Yes. lait.finance includes a liabilities tracker for mortgages, loans, and other debts. Each liability tracks the outstanding balance, interest rate, monthly payment, and remaining term. Liabilities can be linked to real assets (e.g., a mortgage linked to a property) to show net equity. Your total net worth is calculated as assets minus liabilities.
lait.finance is currently free during its beta period. No credit card is required to sign up. Future pricing plans will be announced before the beta ends.
Unlike Delta and CoinStats (crypto-focused) or Finary (limited to France), lait.finance combines crypto tracking, Open Banking integration with 2,000+ European banks, stock portfolio monitoring, monthly budgeting with AI categorization, savings tracking, real estate and vehicle valuations, liability management, and an AI wealth advisor — all in one dashboard. It supports both EUR and USD and is built for investors across Europe and the US.

Open Banking connections go through regulated PSD2 providers. The platform enforces strict security headers (CSP, HSTS, X-Frame-Options), rate limiting on sensitive endpoints, and all data is hosted on European infrastructure. lait.finance does not sell user data.
